HIDDEN LEAKS. PROPERLY RESOLVED.

Finding the source is
just the beginning.

A leak can turn your home upside down. You deserve a clear plan, a properly completed plumbing repair and the evidence your insurer needs.

Leak Seaker brings those stages together. We investigate the signs, use specialist equipment to trace the source, explain the access required and complete the agreed repair. Quality parts, appropriate testing and a written report are included in our £1,750 residential package.

From a boiler that keeps losing pressure to water escaping beneath your driveway, we help you move from worrying about the problem to understanding how it will be resolved.

TRACE & ACCESS REPORTS INCLUDED

Give your insurer
the full picture.

A clear record of the leak, the investigation and the repair — ready to support your claim for eligible costs.

How we support your insurance claim

When you are dealing with an escape of water, the paperwork matters. Our Written Trace & Access report explains the relevant findings, why access was needed and what plumbing work followed, with supporting photographs where appropriate.

Submit your report and invoice to your insurer. They provide evidence for the assessment of eligible trace-and-access costs, helping you explain the job without having to reconstruct the visit yourself.

Ask your insurer about approval before work starts. Your policy, excess and limits determine whether some or all of the cost can be reclaimed; the report cannot guarantee reimbursement.

PRECISION BEFORE DISRUPTION

Investigate carefully.
Open with purpose.

Your floors and walls should not be opened on a hunch.

Thermal imaging, acoustic listening, tracer gas, pressure testing and moisture mapping help us build evidence around the suspected system. Our engineers select the methods that suit your property and compare the findings before proposing access.

That considered approach helps reduce unnecessary disturbance. When an opening is needed to confirm and repair the leak, we explain the work and what will need separate reinstatement afterwards.

WORKMANSHIP THAT MATTERS

Quality beneath
the surface.

The parts you cannot see deserve the same care as the home around them.

We use quality, suitable water-supply fittings selected for the actual repair. Pipe compatibility, pressure, temperature and installation requirements all matter. Heating components and other materials are chosen for the system they serve.

Leak detection and repair engineers carry out the work, followed by appropriate checks. Every piece of work we complete within the agreed package is backed by a one-year workmanship warranty.

What does the £1,750 offer include?

For the agreed residential job, £1,750 includes investigation, specialist leak detection, tracing, necessary access or excavation, the plumbing repair, parts, materials, appropriate retesting and an Written Trace & Access report. It includes any applicable tax and a one-year workmanship warranty. Decorative and remedial reinstatement is excluded.

Can I claim the cost back on my home insurance?

You can submit our Written Trace & Access report and invoice to support a claim. Whether you can recover some or all of the cost depends on your policy, its trace-and-access provisions, excess, limits and your insurer’s decision. Ask about approval before the work. A report supports the evidence; it does not guarantee reimbursement.

Is access and repair really included?

Yes. Necessary access or excavation and the plumbing repair are included for the agreed residential job, alongside the detection and report. Restoring tiles, flooring, plaster, paint, cabinetry, paving or landscaping is separate. We explain the proposed access and its effect on finishes before proceeding.

Do you charge more if the agreed job takes longer?

There is no extra hourly surcharge simply because the agreed residential job takes longer. The £1,750 price applies to the scope confirmed before booking. Unrelated faults or work outside that agreed scope must be discussed and agreed separately.

How much is the deposit?

After we confirm the job and appointment, the booking deposit is £100. It is deducted from the £1,750 total, leaving £1,650. An enquiry does not book a visit, take payment or reserve an appointment.

What does the one-year warranty cover?

A one-year workmanship warranty applies to all work we carry out within the agreed package. It relates to our workmanship, rather than insuring every existing pipe or unrelated fault in the property. Keep the report and invoice, and raise a concern promptly so it can be assessed under the written warranty terms.
