Tell us about the symptoms
Send the postcode, property type and a short account of what is happening. Include earlier reports, known meter or pressure changes and any active water escape. We assess the likely scope and confirm whether the residential package is appropriate.
Agree the scope and booking
We confirm the work, access arrangements and appointment. Read the £1,750 inclusions and exclusions and the written booking information. The £100 deposit is deducted from the total, leaving £1,650. An enquiry alone is not a booking.
Build the evidence
The engineer reviews the history and accessible installation, then selects suitable tests. Thermal imaging, acoustic listening, tracer gas and other methods are used where appropriate. Findings are compared before access is proposed.
Explain the access
Once the evidence supports a source area, we discuss the opening or excavation needed. Someone authorised must agree the work. The effect on finishes and the separate reinstatement should be understood before opening.
Repair with suitable parts
We carry out the plumbing repair within the agreed scope using quality parts and materials, including suitable water-supply fittings. Appropriate post-repair testing helps assess the result.
Receive the report and handover
The Written Trace & Access report records the relevant findings and work, with photographs where appropriate. Keep it with your invoice and one-year workmanship warranty information. Arrange separate drying or reinstatement as needed.
If the findings change the plan
Sometimes the source is different from the initial suspicion, another area needs access or a non-plumbing specialist is required. The next step should follow the evidence. We explain the finding and discuss any work outside the agreed scope before it is separately authorised.
A response time, same-day completion or exact outcome is not promised before the property and job are assessed. Tell us about urgent conditions when enquiring, and use appropriate emergency assistance for an immediate hazard.
