Check the plumbing result
The engineer carries out appropriate checks on the repaired section and explains the findings. The check needs to suit the system and the work performed. Ask about anything you should observe afterwards and keep a note of any relevant pressure or meter behaviour.
A repaired pipe does not instantly dry a building
Moisture in walls, floors and voids may remain after the source is stopped. The appropriate drying and reinstatement plan depends on the materials and damage. Building drying and decorative or remedial reinstatement are separate from the Leak Seaker plumbing package.
Keep the evidence together
Retain the Written Trace & Access report, invoice, photographs supplied and booking information. Your insurer or reinstatement contractor may need to understand the source, access and repair. Clear records reduce the need to reconstruct what happened months later.
Use the workmanship warranty correctly
All work we carry out within the agreed package has a one-year workmanship warranty. Keep the written terms and raise a concern promptly if you suspect an issue with our work. An unrelated failure elsewhere in the existing installation is a separate matter that needs assessment.
How Leak Seaker can help
Our leak detection and plumbing repair starts with the symptoms and relevant history. For an agreed residential job, the £1,750 package includes specialist detection, necessary access, plumbing repair, parts, testing and an Written Trace & Access report, with a one-year workmanship warranty.
Decorative and remedial reinstatement is excluded. Cover and reimbursement depend on your insurer and policy. Commercial instructions are quoted separately.
