Think about the pipe route and access
For a suspected incoming-main leak, tell us about long private routes, gateways and shared sections. Existing plans can help distinguish the section serving the home. If the problem is internal, note whether it changes after heating or bathroom use and share previous engineer findings.
The residential service in Buckinghamshire
The agreed £1,750 package includes investigation, specialist leak detection, tracing, necessary access or excavation, plumbing repair, parts, materials, appropriate testing and an Written Trace & Access report. Applicable tax is included. A £100 booking deposit is deducted from the total, leaving £1,650.
Leak detection and repair engineers choose appropriate methods for the system and conditions. Suitable water-supply fittings are selected for the repair, and all work we carry out under the agreed scope has a one-year workmanship warranty. Decorative and remedial reinstatement is excluded.
Insurance reporting for your property
If you intend to claim, ask your insurer about approval, trace-and-access cover and the evidence required before work starts. Tell us the claim reference and any reporting instructions. The report can support your submission, but the insurer applies the policy terms, excess and limits and decides reimbursement.

- Describe the symptoms and any water-meter or heating-pressure changes.
- Share existing reports, photographs and known pipe routes.
